Middle School

At The Catholic School of Visalia, George McCann Memorial, we are dedicated to nurturing the academic and spiritual growth of our middle school students. Serving grades 6 through 8, our institution blends a rigorous educational program with the principles of the Catholic faith to foster a holistic learning experience.

Our middle school curriculum is designed to challenge and engage students, preparing them for the academic demands of high school and beyond. We offer a diverse range of subjects, including mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies, all taught by passionate educators who are committed to fostering a love of learning. Our small class sizes ensure personalized attention, enabling each student to achieve their fullest potential.

Central to our mission is the integration of Catholic values into everyday learning.

We provide a nurturing environment where students can explore their faith, develop a strong moral compass, and participate in meaningful service to others. Our religious education components, including daily prayer, liturgical celebrations, and community service projects, are woven into the fabric of school life, helping students grow spiritually as they advance academically.

We believe in the importance of community. Our school is a place where students feel safe, respected, and valued. We emphasize character education and leadership development, encouraging students to act with integrity and empathy. Our extracurricular activities, such as sports teams, Spelling Bee, Battle of the Books, and Our Lady of Fatima provide opportunities for students to cultivate their talents and forge lasting friendships.
