Home and School Association (H.S.A.)
What is the H.S.A?
The Home and School Association is the parent club of our school. Parents are asked to work cooperatively, to help in providing a high quality, moderately priced Catholic education for our children. Money raised contributes directly to the daily operation of our school and supplemental tuition for all families. The Home and school Association is designed to bring families together, foster spiritual and educational growth, and to contribute to the financial stability of our school.
Parents are encouraged to become active members of the Home and School Association of our school
Your participation helps us to:
- Promote a broader appreciation of the mission, goals and ideals of Catholic education
- Foster the integration of families with the parish community
- Enlist the spiritual, educational and social resources of home and school to provide the best Catholic education possible
- Offer religious and educational enrichment opportunities for families with children in the school, and for all families in the parish community
- Provide a solid resource group to plan, coordinate, and staff the school’s fundraising efforts and social functions
provide a forum of exchange for parents and teachers on matters of mutual interest - Promote the political awareness of parents with regard to national, state, and local legislation that affects Catholic education as well as the lives of students and parents.

My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 12 years and are blessed with three children at GMC — Evelyn (5th Grade), Emilie (3rd Grade), and Eric (1st Grade). During our time at GMC, I have enjoyed being actively involved in the school community. My contributions include serving as a room mom, running the Hot Lunch Program, serving on the HSA Ball Committee, introducing the Girls on the Run program to GMC, and most recently joining the SCRIP Program Committee. We chose GMC for our children because of its strong Catholic education and sense of community, and I am honored to continue serving as part of the HSA Board!

My husband and I of almost 24 years, are grateful for 3 girls Adelle (19), Nora (15), and Monte (10). This is my 3rd year serving on the HSA board and I look forward to supporting the HSA board and school community through serving as a follower of Christ.

I am passionate about fostering strong relationships within our community and raising funds that will benefit all our children. My experience leading the GMC Centennial and my current role in onboarding and training new hires within the insurance industry have equipped me with valuable skills in working with diverse personalities, finding solutions, and delegating tasks. I believe in honesty, integrity, leadership, active listening, and inclusiveness, and I am committed to making a positive impact at GMC.

I am very happy to represent the George McCann school community as a Director this year. My wife Christina and I are the proud parents of two (children, Andres and Lourdes. We live in Visalia and are proud to have our son attend and learn at George McCann. We have been thrilled at the high level of rigor Andres is experiencing academically. I feel called to play a vital role on the HSA Board and give back to this school in a unique and meaningful way. My past activities at GMC include volunteering for various events including clean-up crew for the Mother-Son Dance, Cow Pie Bingo, and selling tickets outside Mass on weekends for the upcoming Centennial Celebration. .

I’m a proud alumna of GMC, having attended from 2nd through 8th grade, and it’s such a joy to now see two of my three daughters growing up in the same wonderful community—one in JK and the other in K. My husband, Sean, and I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a school that continues to nurture both faith and family values. Over the years, I’ve loved being involved as a Room Mom and helping with the Centennial Event, both of which deepened my appreciation for the spirit and heart of GMC.Now, as the Director of the Home and School Association, I’m excited to help strengthen the connection between home and school. I look forward to supporting events, fostering meaningful relationships, and ensuring that every GMC family feels welcomed, valued, and heard.

Mother to Ivan (GMC Class of 2022), Jake (2nd Grade), and Luke (2nd Grade)
My name is Eneida Pepe. My husband, Jeff, and I have 3 boys who have attended/are attending GMC. Ivan recently graduated, and Luke and Jake are in 2nd grade. Our kids play sports year round; therefore, we are a busy family, especially when it comes to baseball season. We enjoy every minute of it. What can I say, we are a baseball family!
We came to GMC in 2019. During our time here, I have enjoyed working with the Fatima Auction Committee and the Father/Daughter-Mother/Son Dance Committee. I have previously served as one of the Directors on the H.S.A. Board and am also a Teacher’s Aide in the Junior Kindergarten Classroom. I believe that being part of the H.S.A. Board is an excellent way to stay informed and be involved in the education of our children. I look forward to the Vice President Position so that I am able to help out in as many ways possible. My family and I have been blessed with lifelong friends from the GMC Family. Thank You

This is our family’s third year at George McCann, with our son in Kindergarten. I’m a proud George McCann graduate, having attended from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and it’s so special to see my son continue that tradition.
As HSA Secretary, one of my goals is to strengthen our school’s social media presence by highlighting the many wonderful moments that make GMC such a special community. Professionally, I’m a Senior Vice President at a technology company. Our family has enjoyed helping plan the Cornhole and Cow Pie Bingo event, and I was honored to help lead marketing efforts for the Centennial Celebration.
